Last week was a busy one for the EasyRoute IT team, with two separate installation projects focused on an increasingly important part of modern buildings: security and connectivity.

CCTV, Door Access Control and Starlink Installation
On Monday and Tuesday, our team was on site completing a combination of security and connectivity installations.
The project included internal and external CCTV cameras, a modern door access control system and a Starlink internet connection.
Each solution plays an important role in improving the overall functionality and security of a building.
CCTV Installation
We installed a combination of internal and external cameras to provide greater visibility across the premises. Modern CCTV systems allow businesses to monitor activity, deter potential incidents and have greater peace of mind when it comes to protecting their property.
Door Access Control
Alongside the CCTV installation, we fitted a door access control system to help manage who can enter the building. Access control provides a more flexible and secure alternative to traditional keys, allowing businesses to better manage entry to their premises.
Starlink Connectivity
The project also included a Starlink installation, providing reliable internet connectivity. Starlink is particularly useful for locations where traditional broadband services may be limited, unsuitable or unavailable.

Supporting Security Within the Local Community
On Friday, we were back out on site, this time completing a CCTV installation at a community building.
Community spaces are used by a wide range of people, and ensuring they remain safe and secure is important. Installing CCTV helps provide additional monitoring, protect the building and offer reassurance to those who use the facilities.
